Start with
breathing exercises. The breathing exercises will allow you to better control
the note and the duration of your singing. No wonder: singers who can breathe
deeply and constantly get a better performance of their voice.
Practice opening
the opening of your throat. Relax and open your jaw like a fish would out of
the water. Start by flexing your facial muscles a little in the middle.
Try the
following breathing exercises before heating:
Start by doing a
couple of deep breaths of air. Imagine that the air is really heavy as you
breathe it.
Let the air
descend below the navel, into the diaphragm. Exhale and repeat it several
times.
Get a light,
feathery pillow, and practice keeping it in the air, as if you were juggling a feather
with your current of air. [1] Gradually the pen really flies high and tries to
keep it there.
Do not let your
chest collapse while holding the pen in the air. Try to keep the air flow
coming from your diaphragm.
